The Four Agreements

“A practical guide to personal freedom”

Sit at the foot of a native elder and listen as great wisdom of days long past is passed down. In The Four Agreements shamanic teacher and healer Don Miguel Ruiz exposes self-limiting beliefs and presents a simple yet effective code of personal conduct learned from his Toltec ancestors. Full of grace and simple truth, this handsomely designed book makes a lovely gift for anyone making an elementary change in life, and it reads in a voice that you would expect from an indigenous shaman. The four agreements are these: Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best. It’s the how and why one should do these things that make The Four Agreements worth reading and remembering. –P. Randall Cohan

Toltec wisdom at its very best. This book is written simply, which make it an easy read. However! Although an easy read, it has en endless amount of life lessons, understood, it can add so much value to your everyday life. If we can really follow these rules, I would imagine life being a more peaceful and simple one. That being said, its no easy task! I admire those that can “truly” follow them. The four agreements:

1-Be impeccable with your word.

2-Dont take anything personally.

3.Don’t make assumptions &

4-Always do your best.

Our readers found it short and sweet, although they were all things that they already knew it was good to read it and out it into perspective. A good book to keep going back too for guidance.
